.+vietnam part 2+.

yoz... hahas... well here comes day two.. well on day two we checked out of victory hotel and board our virgin bus... lolz... cause the bus is new and we are the first ones to board it^^ like the airport terminla too^^ well.. so we made way to Dalat... we stopped after 2h on the bus and went for a toilet break...and later have lunch at bao loc province which we were served a course of 11dishes.. lolz.. how can we manage to finish it.. lolz... well we shopped a lil there for a while and then proceed on our long long journey.. after a while.. we took a stop at the tea and coffee farm.. we took lots of pictures and thn we walked down the steep plantation and took more pic... tuan showed us the small tea leaves and we learned that the leaves are only collected during the early morn as there are no sunlight then.. we were also showed the coffee fruit.. do u noe that the fruit is red in colour? the coffee we drink is the seed of the fruit ^^ cool right.. thn we set out to complete our journey to dalat as we traveled upwards, i can see ppl are startin to wear more clothings... finnally we reached dalat for dinner lol... the place we dine is just beside our hotel, Ngoc Lan Hotel.. the hotel is new too^^a super nice... hahas... after dinner we checked in and thn an hr ltr meet at the loby to go to the night market^^we walked there are started to conquer the night market for our souviners.. hahas.. i was crowned the bargain queen as i helped everyone bargain and almost got all the prices i want... nigel was crowned the shopping king but we ltr found that he was no where near mr tee... who i think have to pay for heavy luggage.. hahas... it was fun u noe.. bargainin... even though we dun noe vietnamese, we noe that some are laugin at us.. lolz... shld be my baraginin nah.. lolz.. let me teach u some...
Step 1: SMILE always when u are bargainin
Step 2: If they dun give u the price u wan, say that u are only a student and do not have enough money...
Step 3:If that doesn't work, say that u choose their shop bcause they are so beautiful/ handsome.
Step 4:stand ur ground... and push them to a conner and attack!
Step 5: say ur thank yous when they give in...
hahas... that's my tactic and it really works u noe... well after shoppin, we met at the steps of the night market... we started to walk back in grps.. well mr seah took ours which at that time consists of me, olivia, jolyn and tricia... lolz.. the rest were late lor... hahas... well, mr seah suggested us to have supper at one of the many cafe outside the hotel and we shld try the coffee and strawberry wine.. lolz... we thought it was a good idea and we went in with him.. hahas.. the scenery in there was good man! with the night wing blowing like 10 degree celcius... lolz.. i drank pumpkin soup while olivia, jolyn and tricia drank hot chocolate... mr seah drank rum with coffe.. and we all shared spring rolls... lolz.. i din eat it cos there is prawn in it.. the food was okay but the service was fab even better thn singapore and the scenery cannot be describe by words... at the end, mr seah paid for us... lolz... so nice right.. frm thn i did not find mr seah stuffy at all liao.. cos he sooooooo nice to pay for us and we can skip curfew and was the last grp to be bak hahas... so nice well that was the second day^^ more to come!

.+vietnam part one+.

yoz... i am back! just landed ytr at 11.23 at changi T1.. hahas... the six days in vietnam have been fab and enjoyable.. the first day was at Ho Chi Minh City or known as Saigon to the locals.. the time diif for singapore and vietnam is 1hour earlier.. the first day after landing at the new terminal of Tan Son Nhat( we were the first plane to land on the new terminal!) we went to vist the central post office and the Norterdam castle... even though the weather in Saigon is horribly hot, when we entered the central post office is extremely cooling even without and air conditionin and little fan.. it was so cool.. the 2 buildings were built by the france during there control over vietnam. after that, we went to have a buffet lunch at an french restaurant which serves vietnam cuisine and french cuisine... the food there was not bad and thn with out full stomach checked in to victory hotel. the hotel was DISGUSTING! REALLY BAD!(talk bout it ltr) we rested at the hotel for an hour thn our tour guide tuan(which is handsome in vietnamese)brought us to chu chi tunnel... oh for this trip we have one tour guide, tuan, one tour leader, tracy, three teachers, Mr Seah, Mr Tee and Ms Liow...at the chu chi tunnel, we learned that the americans have used an acid called orange agent so that no plants can be grown in vietnam... hence... the vietnam soldiers dug underground a tunnel which is called chu chi tunnel that connects it to Cambodia and Laos... we also learned that the vietnam soldiers created traps to kill the american soldiers.. in the end the vietnam won.. we tried to climb the tunnel with a length of 25m... it may seem short but the length in the tunnel seem more than that... we had to crawl like a duck even in the tunnel that was widden 2 times the original size..our legs were swore when we got up... thn we went to the suppermarket in vietnam to buy bottled water(the type tht we were only allowed to consume) and snacks for the next 6 days as the next day we were going to travel to Da Lat a day on road journey. thn we walked through the crazy traffic to a habour that we board a reataurant boat and have our dinner as the boat circled around the river... the way there was supper horrible.. as there are like 4 million motorist on the streets and many of them would not give way to anyone as there are no traffic lights.. it was a horrible but exciting... lolz... well that night at the hotel which i shared with olivia was supper horrible... even though the room was big but it was creepy to.. everything was old even the bed and the room just gives off horrible aura... we slept with the lghts on the whole night... that was how horrible i was..lolz. that was day one.. and i felt thn that i was in love with vietnam already...! post more ltr!
